Ed Muzik reminds us that the first snowmaking at Lapham Peak occurred 15 years ago today on Feb. 10, 2006! Here are some of the photos from that night and the next morning. John Lupo pushed the button to begin the operation

Next morning, not a lot of snow as temps were a bit warm, but we still considered it a successful beginning. (Note, it was a rather rough operation with a water tank, a gas run pump and a person (Ed) pushing a button every few minutes or so to continue filling the rubber tank.)
